Lok Sabha elections 2024 Phase 1: Campaigning for the first phase of Lok Sabha polls 2024 ended on Wednesday and voting will be held across 102 Lok Sabha constituencies in 21 states and union territories on Friday, April 19.

In Uttar Pradesh, poll campaign ended for eight Lok Sabha seats that are going to polls in first phase of the General Elections on Friday — Saharanpur, Bijnor, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit in the western region of the state. In all, U.P. has 80 Lok Sabha seats that will go to polls spread across all the seven phases of the Lok Sabha election.

Lok Sabha elections 2024 Phase 1: Date and Time

As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, the first phase of the seven phase Lok Sabha 2024 elections will be held on April 19 (Friday). 

Voting for first phase of 2024 Lok Sabha elections will begin at 8.00 PM and end at 5.00 PM on Friday, April 19, with an extra hour provided as a buffer period for voters present in the voting line at 5.00 PM.
